Water and Land

Water plays a significant part in a number of Alan’s paintings. It sets the tone: from the rushing beck in Deepdale to the stillness of the water meadows near his home. By contrast he also enjoys the openness of the Suffolk marshes and, by contrast, the colours seen close up of flowers.

All are oil on canvas.
